Five members of the same family helped Lewes Bridgeview win the overall title at the Sussex Team Judo Championships at Worthing.
Seventeen-year-old twins Jeremy and Becky Fielding, together with Jon, 13 and Simon, 10, combined with father Dave to create history for their club.
Jeremy and Becky each claimed gold medals and dad helped himself to a silver medal.
Club coach Dave said: "I think it is a record to have five members of one family at one championship.
"We didn't think Simon would progress as quickly as he has but he's now good enough to compete.
"He and Jon missed out on medals but we were all part of a milestone for the club.
"I'm delighted for Jeremy and Becky.
"They have a bond and the fact that they fight like cat and dog during training has helped speed up their development at judo.
"It's has always been a dream of mine to play judo with all my youngsters and now it has come true.
"We've won the girls title and the boys titles at different times but never the overall one."
Jeremy and Becky attend Park College (Eastbourne), while Jon is at Hailsham Community College where his father is a teacher.
Simon is a pupil at Grovelands (Hailsham).
Bridgeview picked up 335 points.
There was a tie for second place between Zodiac (Hastings) and Chichester picking up 320. Joff (Peacehaven) were fourth with 300.
Joff secured the boys' five-player title for the third successive time through Patrick Rix, 10, Louie Mohammed, 11, Jacob Manthorpe, 11, Scott Bolingbroke, 13 and captain Joseph Rix, 14. Mark Bantock, 10, was reserve.
Eight teams battled through with Joff beating Kin Ryu (Crawley), who are trained by former BJA chairman Mick Leigh, 5-0 in the final.
Joff coach Dennis Mitchell reserved praise for Leigh.
He said: "It's good to see Mick Leigh with a good young team. He taught me. He must be in his 60s."
Fielding was delighted to see Leigh involved. He said: "Mick has produced a team of youngsters who have been taught technique the right way."
A silver medal was struck by Joff in the three-player team event thanks to Kris Moloney, 12, Stephen Saunders, 15, and captain Zak Beard, 14, with Ryan Longman, 12, in reserve.
The B team of Spencer Bennett, 10, Shaun Mason, 15, and captain Jamie Evans, 14, took the bronze medal.
Joff also gained a bronze medal in the three-player girls' event through Megan Longman, 9, Christina Clark, 14, and skipper Katherine Rix, 15.
The girls' five-player champions were Lewes Bridgeview, beating off opposition from Chichester, Horsham and Westerleigh (Seaford).
In the boys' three-player event, Rising Sun (Worthing) only lost two fights out of a total of 12 to take the gold. The girls' event was won by Zodiac. In the senior event the Dan Grade title went to Horsham. Fielding's Lewes Bridgeview taking silver. Lewes took the women's title.
Nine clubs from across the county took part.
