Tributes have been paid to a mother-of-two who was found throttled to death at her family home.
A trust fund has been set up in memory of Linda Allen, 38, who was found dead in the home she shared with her two sons and husband.
Mrs Allen lived in Crowborough for seven years where she was a keen swimmer and cook.
While there she met her husband Maurice, 52. The couple had two sons, Gareth, seven, and Liam, four.
In 1995 they moved to Stokenchurch, High Wycombe, where Mrs Allen was found strangled last month.
Her parents, June and Harold Bishop, paid an emotional tribute to their daughter at her funeral in Solihull, saying she was full of life and doted on her children, who are now being cared for by relatives.
Mrs Bishop said: "We will all miss Linda so much. She was a devoted and hands-on mum."
She added that she and her daughter had a terrific relationship and had lots of fun together.
Mrs Allen spent her childhood and teenage years in Solihull where her 16-year-old sister, Julie, died from epilepsy when she was 12.
After school, Mrs Allen went on to technical college to study hotel management, later working as a hotel receptionist and then as a travel agent in Birmingham.
She moved to Crowborough in 1988, where friends said she was brilliant mother.
Friend Sarah Williams said: "Linda was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. She was a fantastic mother.
"This has come as a great shock. The children are now staying with Linda's relatives in Solihull."
Maurice Allen, 52, has been charged with the murder of Mrs Allen and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on February 5.
