It's one year since Brighton and Hove became a city. People are asking what the resort gained from it.
There was never going to be any monetary award. But becoming a city meant the two towns were recognised nationally for being special.

There's been real progress in the city with increased prosperity and progress on exciting projects. More than ever in this past year, Brighton and Hove has proved it is The Place to Be.
