I wonder how many Labour Party supporters are aware that Tony Blair, along with foreign secretary Jack Straw and defence secretary Geoff Hoon, is backing BAe Systems' plans to sell a £28 million military air traffic control system to Tanzania?
Tanzania, which has just eight military aircraft, is one of the world's poorest countries, in which half the population lacks access to clean water and one-quarter of children die before their fifth birthday.
Clearly, protecting a few jobs in the arms industry is more important to Labour than its promises of an ethical foreign policy.
One would expect this from a Tory government but I am sure this isn't what millions of Labour supporters voted for in the last two elections.
