Further to C J Naish's comments regarding the negative way he has been treated by NCP and Brighton and Hove City Council (Letters, December 19), may I suggest the following.

I had a letter published (December 13) in which I suggested a few ways of treating Brighton and Hove City Council.

One was to block the roads until someone agrees we must be listened to. The other was to write several letters to the appropriate council or NCP office.

The latter would no doubt throw them into utter confusion and would not be breaking any law, unless they invent another one similar to the one they tried to enforce regarding photographing parking wardens.

I would not be a proud citizen if I was forced to use harsh methods in order to gain the attention of the authorities but it appears the bigger the bang, the more attention gained.

As I stated before, expect a huge reaction. When people figure out how to rally together, they will - and, unlike the consultations organised by the council that served as no more than lip service, the council will not be privy to the agenda in a likewise manner.

Touch.
