I think it is time the religious leaders of this world define what they mean when they talk of God.
Do they mean a being, someone all-powerful, good, merciful, who can work miracles and loves mankind?
If that is the case, why are we not living in paradise?
There would be no pain or suffering, no illnesses, no diseases, therefore no hospitals, doctors or nurses.
No murders, no crime, therefore, no policemen and no over-crowded prisons. No wars, no guns, no bombs, no soldiers. There, of course, would be no deaths at all, as death would only bring sorrow and that would not be allowed.
Very soon, the world would be too small and God would have to provide another paradise but nobody would go, being too happy on this one.
As all the above is obviously not happening in our world, this rules out any such being. It would seem, therefore, those who believe in him are sadly mistaken.
However, there is no doubt that many people get comfort from their belief and so, in that respect, there may be some good which comes from that belief.
The facts really speak for themselves, millions of people killed, all of which points to the realisation there is and never has been a God.
