Police investigating the murder of a woman after a Christmas party are searching for the man in whose flat she was found.
Charmian Falkner, 33, from Devon, went missing after a night out in Brighton on Friday last week.
Following a desperate search by her family, who reported the disappearance on Sunday, her body was found lying on a bed in a flat at Dorset Gardens on Thursday.
She had been dead for several days and a post-mortem examination showed she had been strangled, prompting the launch of a murder investigation last night.
At a Press conference today at Brighton police station, the officer leading the inquiry, Detective Chief Inspector Steve Dennis, appealed for help piecing together her last movements.
He was particularly keen to trace a man known as Paul Flynn, at whose flat Miss Falkner was found.
He said: "I need to speak to that gentleman. Obviously we need to talk to him about why she was found in his flat."
Miss Falkner was last seen with three men at a party at the Brighton Centre, where she used to work.
She left with them at about 8pm, going on to the nearby Queensbury Arms pub.
She was there until about 11pm, when she got into a taxi with three men. It was the last time she was seen alive.
Mr Dennis appealed for anybody at the Brighton Centre or the Queensbury Arms who has not yet come forward to do so.
He also wanted to speak to the taxi driver who picked her up.
He said it was too soon to be able to say whether Miss Falkner had been sexually assaulted before being killed or how long the body had lain undiscovered.
