A student who took part in a sanctions-busting trip to Iraq says he is prepared to put his freedom at risk again.
Matt Barr helped deliver basic medical supplies to the country as part of the pressure group Voices In The Wilderness.
He also broke the law by bringing items out of the country, including clothing and scarves, which were auctioned to raise more money for Iraq.
Matt, 21, a student at Chichester College of Arts, Science and Technology, said: "Obviously I have no desire to spend time in prison but I feel this was the right thing for me to do."
Before setting off for Iraq, Matt, of Blackboy Lane, Fishbourne, near Chichester, had taken part in a peace walk from Washington DC to New York with six family members of victims of the September 11 attacks, calling for an end to the war in Afghanistan and to try to stop the conflict spreading to other countries.
Matt said: "The walk was for healing and peace and we walked behind a banner which said: 'Our grief is not a cry for war'."
