I am writing a book called Those In Peril to raise money for the RNLI. It is a collection of interviews about people who have survived shipwrecks in the 20th Century during both peace and war.
If you were a passenger (child or adult), member of the forces or crew on any of the ships below when they foundered and would like to be interviewed, I would love to hear from you: First World War: Lusitania, Carpathia, Laurentic.
Second World War: Rawalpindi, Lancastria, Empress Of Britain, Jervis Bay, Empress Of Asia, Gloucester Castle, Duchess Of Atholl, City Of Cairo.
After 1945: SS Lakonia, Herald Of Free Enterprise.
