Nick Nurse is set to lead out the southern conference in this month's All-Star game.
The BBL will officially reveal the identity of the two selected coaches on Monday as they look ahead to the showcase occasion in Newcastle on January 20.
Nurse has masterminded a spectacular change of fortunes for Bears this season in his role as coach and general manager.
He has held off challenges from the likes of ex-Bears chief Chris Pullem and Milton Keynes' player/coach Nigel Lloyd.
His path to the prestigious position was smoothed when conference leaders London Towers sacked Lino Frattin in late November.
This is Nurse's sixth All-Star appointment in seven seasons and allows him to name two wild card selections.
One of them is almost certain to be Brighton skipper Randy Duck.
Bears stars Albert White and Sterling Davis have already qualified for the southern line-up.
