The anonymous correspondent and dissatisfied regular bus traveller can be reassured our aim is to give the best possible service to all passengers whether regular or occasional users.
We constantly monitor our services to ensure this is being achieved and significant growth in passenger journeys each year indicates we are achieving success.
Our significant investment in new buses and the current introduction of real-time technology in partnership with Brighton and Hove City Council, as well as freezing bus fares, are examples of continuing improvements.
The council's introduction of a decriminalised parking scheme has helped keep bus stops clear and if Sussex Police give the necessary priority to enforcing city centre traffic laws around the Clock Tower, buses will stand a good chance of running more regularly despite all the other challenges posed by traffic congestion in our crowded city.
We are always pleased to receive feedback where problems are arising so we can put things right and the correspondent is welcome to provide any specific details of his or her regular journeys to help in this respect.
