Actor Jonathan Cake had some inspirational words for pupils as the guest of an honour at an awards ceremony.
The former Worthing Sixth Form College student returned for the first time since leaving in 1985 to present certificates.
More than 500 people, including students and parents, attended the annual event at The Assembly Hall in Stoke Abbott Road, Worthing.
But Mr Cake, also known as the Milk Tray man, was the true hit of the night.
College spokeswoman Kathryn Pilling said: "He is a very good-looking man and I think all the girls fancied him."
The actor - whose film and TV appearances include The Jump and Channel 4's Mosley - made a speech to pupils about how to achieve success in life.
Miss Pilling said: "He made a lot of jokes and told them not to worry if they weren't sure what to do next.
"He talked about how he just chose what he enjoyed in life, which was acting, and how he now never saw work as a chore.
"The feedback from students was brilliant. I think his speech really made a difference."
Pupils, especially the girls, clamoured to chat to the 6ft 4in actor after the ceremony.
