A huge haul of suspected stolen car stereos and speakers have been seized from a house by police, it emerged today.
Sixteen pieces of in-car music equipment were recovered by officers executing a warrant at a house in Langney, Eastbourne.
It followed weeks of intelligence work by the Eastbourne Community Problem Solving Team, although no one was arrested.
Sergeant Rob Barrasford said: "It is important we are given serial numbers, the model and make of any stolen equipment.
"It is much easier to trace a loser and secure a conviction if we then recover suspected stolen property through the execution of search warrants."
