I would like to thank Roger French in advance for telling half of Sussex of the pending generous wage rise for bus drivers, which starts in February.
Because I work a six-day week, every week, this means my wages will rise from £250 to £350 (take-home) a week - not bad for 7 per cent.
Once again, thanks Roger, but can you tell me why it was all over the front page of The Argus (January 8) or, indeed, why was it in The Argus at all?
When are your salary and bonus details being published in The Argus? I look forward to reading about them.
We get enough aggro and grief from passengers and motorists without them being reminded of how "well paid" we are.
