Veteran comedy writer Vince Powell is deploring the lack of British sitcoms on television these days.
He blames TV executives for believing there is no longer an audience for them, rather than a decline in the skills of those who wrote classic comedies.
So it's the bosses rather than the writers who have lost the plot.
