I was appalled to learn of Burgess Hill Tesco's decision to bar the breast cancer screening unit from its car park (The Argus, January 14).

Some years ago, my wife had a scan there and was diagnosed positive and subsequently cured.

Following the untimely closure of the Co-Op in Burgess Hill, we were considering shopping at Tesco but it will never get our custom now.

Perhaps other readers might consider a boycott of the store in view of their petty-minded decision.
