A children's nursery branded a "subterranean Teletubby development" is expected to get the thumbs-down for a second time tonight.
Developers want to convert a house in Heath Road, Haywards Heath, into a 76-place nursery but have met with opposition from both town councillors and residents who fear increased traffic congestion in a residential area.
It is the second time the plans have gone before Mid Sussex District Council's central area planning committee and they have been recommended for refusal twice by Haywards Heath Town Council.
Council officers said there were not enough parking spaces and it was detrimental to the area.
Today's planning meeting is at the Council Chamber, Oaklands Road, Haywards Heath, at 7pm.
