Has the fact there are no plans for council-led celebrations of the Queen's Jubilee anything to do with the on-going embarrassment of those involved with the Aquarium Terraces development?
No doubt celebrations would be filmed and Madeira Drive would feature prominently.
What we see now must qualify as a white elephant. Some of the steps down from the middle promenade are still boarded up.
What was a nice stretch, now has walls covered with graffiti and is rapidly becoming an eyesore. Some of the boarded-up windows are painted an awful shade of mauve.
I wonder, what is the next target date for completion?
