Smart card manufacturer ID Data has won a £1 million contract to supply chip technology phone cards.
The Lewes-base firm specialises in secure transaction systems and smart card services for the telecoms, banking and retail sectors.
ID Data has also received more than £1 million-worth of orders from Marconi for pay phone cards to be delivered by March 31.
Chief executive Peter Cox said: "We are in a period of solid sales achievement and experiencing the positive results of our previous investment in both sales and development turning into valuable contracts."
The sales would help to reduce trading losses, including the development costs of working to provide secure solutions.
ID Data, which is targeting telecoms businesses worldwide, is finding the market for its global SIM cards has grown after a period of overstocking and lower subscriber sales.
The company is developing systems for the banking and retail sectors, including secure products for money transfer.
