A man was killed when the car he was in left an East Sussex road and crashed into a tree.
The 26-year-old from Tunbridge Wells, Kent, was driving the Mercedes on the B2104 at Hailsham when it left the road at 10.44pm yesterday.
Fire crews freed the man but he was declared dead at the scene.
Two other occupants, a 22-year-old woman from Mayfield and a 26-year-old man, were freed.
They were taken to the Eastbourne District General Hospital, both with serious injuries.
