Paddy Rea, on behalf of the radio group WBC Radio for Worthing, said his music policy would cover "all the great music from the Sixties through to today" (Letters, January 30). Why start at the Sixties?
As supplier of the radio service to Worthing Hospital since 1986, I believe my organisation knows better than any now applying for the Worthing licence the sort of music Worthing residents like to hear.
There is a vast amount of popular music from the Twenties to the Fifties seldom heard on mainstream radio but which is still appreciated by our listeners, who also like to hear classical and light music.
As my organisation is not competing for the licence, I invite Mr Rea to contact me so I can supply him with our Top 200 chart.
