An opticians' practice held a lookalike competition to find a boy who looked just like schoolboy wizard Harry Potter.
Specsavers in Church Road, Burgess Hill, launched the search as part of a nationwide competition. Eight-year-old Alexander Wright won the local heat.
He was given a Harry Potter goody bag and a Specsavers voucher for £50 for resembling the star of JK Rowling's popular books.
Alexander, of Burgess Hill, will go through to the national final where he will have the chance to win vouchers worth £100 and even more wizard goodies.
Staff member Mark Lee said: "Our staff are very experienced at working with children and can convince any apprehensive youngster that spectacles can enhance their looks. But Harry Potter has made wearing specs cool."
