Radio star Mike Read and the Mayor of Worthing are dressing up as rock singers to raise charity cash.
Former Radio One and Top of the Pops presenter Mike will host Worthing's "biggest-ever" music quiz.
He will ask questions on television and film clips and popular songs and listen to music from the Worthing Wurlitzer organ.
The event is being organised by mayor Valerie Sutton as part of the Mayor's Marvellous March Musical Money Making Day.
Pupils, teachers and workers are being asked to dress up as pop artists, band members or characters from a song.
Money raised will go to the Children's Centre at Worthing Hospital, Gifford House for disabled people and Canine Partners for Independence, the charity which trains dogs for disabled people.
The quiz, with £100 prizes, will be held at Worthing Assembly Hall on March 7.
Tickets cost £6 and are available from the Worthing Theatres Box Office on 01903 206206.
Anyone wanting more information about the day should call the Civic Office on 01903 221017.
