I have been involved with Kemp Town Conservative Association since the Seventies and, until the London mayoral elections were in the national news, had never heard of Ivan Massow.
It is interesting to read (The Argus, February 5) he seems to be considering the possibility of replacing the present Labour MP.
Does he know something we don't? If not, what was the point of the article?
Mr Massow claims to have been brought up in Brighton when, presumably, he was a Conservative supporter.
I can find no record of membership of the Kemp Town Constituency Association nor any involvement with the activities of Brighton Conservatives.
If he can prove me wrong, I would be happy to hear from him.
-Coun David Smith, Conservative, Rottingdean
