A robber brandishing a knife held up a West Sussex off-licence and stole money, cigarettes and alcohol.
The man, whose face was covered by a scarf, entered Victoria Wines in Felpham Road, Bognor, and demanded cash.
The robbery took place on Friday at 6.30pm and police are appealing for witnesses.
The man wore a hat pulled down to his eyes with the scarf across the rest of his face.
The stolen items were put into a carrier bag.
