The parents of 21-year-old Natalie Scott, who was found dead in her flat, have paid tribute to their "popular and stunningly beautiful" daughter.
Rod Scott and Fiona Kent told police how their daughter's love for life and ambitions for the future were cut tragically short.
Natalie was found dead in her Bognor flat a week ago today.
Mr Scott, who lives in Chichester with his partner Jan Bashford, said: "She had so many friends and so much love about her.
"Everywhere she went, she gave off this energy. For whoever she met in her life she would be like electricity. If it was a winter's day, she would make it like summer.
"She loved Audrey Hepburn and wanted to dress with elegance and class. She led an exciting life."
Mrs Kent, who lives with her husband Godfrey in Cornwall, said: "Natalie's smile lit up the world. She had these brilliant blue sparkling eyes and was stunningly beautiful.
"Natalie does not want weeping and wailing. She wants us to celebrate her life."
Miss Scott lived most of her life in the Chichester area and more recently in the flat in Kyoto Court, Bognor, where she was found with stab wounds.
She worked in management at the Army and Navy store in Chichester, at Chichester Festival Theatre and with an insurance company in Bognor.
Mr Scott said: "She was talented and was in the choir at Chichester Cathedral at 14."
His daughter, who also leaves a 17-year-old sister, Miranda, and 15-year-old stepsister Chloe, was found dead after failing to turn up for work.
Christopher Moxon, 24, of Cuckfield Road, Burgess Hill, appeared before Chichester magistrates charged with her murder.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Tuesday.
