Proposals to put a phone mast in Berwick, near Polegate, have met opposition from villagers.
A petition with more than 100 names against the mast has been handed to Lewes Lib Dem MP Norman Baker.
Villagers said the mast, which would be installed on Railtrack land, would be an eyesore.
Petition organiser John Cooper, of Washere Close, said: "The mast would be right in the centre of our village and would overshadow the station.
"It's a very traditional looking station. Putting a mast in the middle seems ludicrous."
Proposals for the 16.2-metre mast are at the consultation stage.
Mast construction company APT, on behalf of mobile operator Orange, could apply for planning permission from Wealden District Council in the next few months.
