Work is due to start on a £500,000 scheme to improve roads round the newly-restored Dome concert hall in Brighton.
The first concert at the renovated Dome will take place on Sunday February 24.
On the following day, an improvement scheme in Church Street and New Road will begin.
The scheme includes changes to the pelican crossings at the junction of Marlborough Place with Church Street.
Road humps will be installed in Church Road and New Road to slow down traffic.
Contra-flow cycle lanes will be put in and pavements will be built out in New Road.
The work will take three months to complete and will involve some night work.
There will also be short-term road closures but pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
