The plans for the station site are ludicrous. Having city status and, obviously, city planning when we are really only a town in size and mentality is no reason to build yet another supermarket and more hotels.
We don't need more visitors because Brighton and Hove is becoming the place not to be for local people.
The seafront by Kings Road arches is untenable from 10pm on a Friday and Saturday and if one wanted to go for a quiet stroll, one has to negotiate drunks, broken glass, fights and numerous people urinating in the sea.
Wake up, Brighton and Hove. We need to get a balance.
Prices are rising everywhere and on all fronts so let's come up with something we can be proud of, not a plan that is plainly neither wanted nor required by the local population.
