Financial Times-to-Penguin group Pearson could sell its FT Business magazine division, it emerged today.
Pearson said it had received "several expressions of interest in FT Business" and had appointed Lazard, the bank, to advise it on strategic options.
FT Business publishes magazines about the UK retail, personal and institutional finance industries.
It includes Investors Chronicle, The Banker, Money Management and Financial Adviser. It does not include the Financial Times newspaper.
Shares in Pearson rose two per cent in early trading.
