Sussex fast bowler James Kirtley hopes to have his re-modelled bowling action cleared by the ECB in a fortnight's time.
The county's vice-captain was reported for a suspect action when he made his England debut during the one-day series in Zimbabwe last October.
An ECB panel subsequently 'identified issues' in his action, which is caused by a hyper-extension in his joints which bend beyond 180 degrees.
For the last three months he has worked regularly with ECB's bowling advisor Bob Cottam and Sussex coach Peter Moores on a re-modelled action which Moores believes will make him a better bowler.
He faces the panel again on March 12, nine days before Sussex go to Grenada for their pre-season tour.
