Detectives investigating a fire which badly damaged a waste company HQ have released a 20-year-old man who was held for questioning.
The blaze on Monday night led to several homes in Harwood Road, Littlehampton, being evacuated as thick smoke poured from workshops and offices belonging to Onyx.
The company empties dustbins in the Littlehampton, Bognor and Arundel area for Arun District Council but said its work had not been disrupted.
A police spokesman said a Bognor man had been released on bail pending further enquiries into the fire, which detectives are treating as suspicious.
He said: "At this stage we do not know the cause of the fire and are waiting for a forensic report."
