As a person who had a ticket for the grand re-opening of the expensively re-ordered Dome concert hall, I find it ironic that at a time when Brighton and Hove City Council decides to remove all grants from the Philharmnic Society, the opening event with the city's symphony orchestra had to be cancelled.
