In reply to Emma Nuttall's remarks (February 23), travellers choose their way of life.
If they were all law-abiding, they would leave our parks, picnic areas, golf courses and areas of outstanding beauty alone and their vehicles would be taxed, insured and in possession of an MOT certificate.
Brighton and Hove City Council would also not have to spend thousands of pounds clearing their rubbish.
There also appears to be an element of intimidation by travellers.
Brighton has its own encampment for them and there is a very nice camping site at East Brighton. You cannot have it both ways Ms Nuttall.
Nobody is above the law.
