A man was punched in the face and his glasses broken in what police are treating as a racist attack.
The 55-year-old Sikh, who was wearing a turban, was with a friend when a blond man appeared and punched him.
He broke the victim's glasses, cutting him under the eye, then ran away.
The two men went into a building but the attacker returned with a group of about six others.
The mob gathered outside the building and the attacker smashed a bar against the glass door.
A 19-year-old passer-by tried to stop them but was also punched in the face.
The blond man was white, aged 25 to 27, with short hair.
He was skinny, between 5ft 6in and 5ft 8in tall and wore jeans and a dark jacket.
The attack happened at 7.30pm on February 17 in Hillbarn Parade, Sompting.
