Lee Steele is confident Albion can cope with the pressure cooker atmosphere of tomorrow's potential promotion clincher at Peterborough.
Around 4,000 fans are making the journey to London Road in the hope of seeing the Seagulls go up with two games to spare.
A win for Peter Taylor's table-toppers and a draw between Brentford and Huddersfield at Griffin Park will seal a place in the First Division next season.
Steele, stoppage-time hero of Monday's 2-1 home win against Bristol City, said: "There has been pressure on the team all year.
"We have got a lot of strong characters who won't let the pressure get to them, like Danny Cullip who is a good leader, so it's really not an issue.
"There is still a lot of work to do. Brentford have got a horrible run-in, Huddersfield at home, QPR away and Reading at home, but I can see them winning all three. If they do it's all the more pressure on us to win our next two games."
Steele is uncertain whether tomorrow's crunch clash will be his last appearance for Albion. The striker is suspended for the final two fixtures against Swindon and Port Vale after a red card in the reserves and he is out of contract in the summer.
"Peter Taylor has said there is something there for me," Steele revealed. "That is still ongoing and I haven't really heard anything back. After I got sent-off last week maybe he has changed his mind.
"Twenty-two starts in two years is not really the type of figures I am looking for. I would say at the moment I'd like to stay, but we really have got to get a new stadium. It's starting to become a bit of an issue now."
Albion will also be promoted this weekend if they and Brentford win and Reading then fail to beat Tranmere at Prenton Park on Sunday.
Taylor said: "Three points are very important. We would be a touch unlucky to get three more points out of three games and not get promoted, but football kicks you in the backside whenever you relax.
"We have got to get another three points at least. I know Barry Fry will be winding his troops up to make it a very difficult match for us."
Paul Brooker was unable to train as expected yesterday after suffering an ankle injury on Monday and he is still a doubt. Taylor said: "It's touch and go. If he plays he is going to need a very heavy strapping."
