I feel that Tuesday should be made a public holiday to allow people to pay their respects either by attending the Queen Mother's funeral or watching it on television.
Schoolchildren have been encouraged to attend or watch it on television but the older generation should also have the option.
Diana's funeral was held on a Saturday so the public could participate. I assumed the same would apply to the Queen Mother, in view of her age and also her being an ex-monarch.
