What a pity Jonathan Sheppard's university education didn't provide him with transferable life skills.
Had it done so, he would see through Tory rhetoric and see the party for what it is - the same old elitist party, full of the same old prejudices based on self-interest rather than a sense of community.
Evidence for lack of commitment to all the people is provided in the Tories' recently-leaked approach to funding the NHS.
No longer is it to be a service funded through taxation, free at the point of need and based on need. Instead, as we suspected, it will be based on the ability to pay.
So don't be old, don't be young, don't have children and, above all, don't be sick under the new Tories.
