More than 40 events have been organised as part of this year's Durrington Festival at the beginning of June.
The festival, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, includes a number of events to mark the Queen's Golden Jubilee.
Chairman Simon Lovering said: "It is amazing how the community comes together during festival week.
"Events so far range from pub nights to church nights, blues and jazz to salsa and swing."
Preparations are under way for the penultimate day of the festival, June 8, which includes a carnival, village fair and free concert.
Carnival organiser Peter Bloxham said: "We want as many participants as possible to join our parade.
"They can walk or ride and the route is only a mile long, about a 30-minute walk."
Anyone who wants to get involved should call the festival team on 01903 529178, email festival@durrington.org.uk or write to Festival, Durrington Community Centre, West Durrington, Worthing, BN13 2PB.
