There is no case for putting elevated commercial buildings on the Brighton seafront in support of the restoration of the West Pier.
These planning proposals are unashamedly being bandied about in the context of the accomplishments of Brighton's founding fathers and the works of Wilds, Busby and Birch.
Is St Modwen to be added to this honorary list as these developers take Brighton forward into the 21st Century? Give us a break.
I was born in England. I have been in Brighton for only five years but these proposals contradict everything that has been in place there since year one.
This is supposed to be a conservation area. Good grief!
