Mistakes in signs for a parking scheme are being rectified, councillor Alison Hermitage told a meeting of Brighton and Hove City Council.
Tory councillor Garry Peltzer Dunn said he had made the council aware of errors three times.
On the north side of Blatchington Road, Hove, there was a parking area for six cars next to a pole with a sign saying waiting was forbidden.
On the south side there were two signs giving different details at a loading bay.
Coun Hermitage said one sign had been removed and the other would be taken down soon.
