As we all know, politicians are held in very low regard, mainly because they refuse to be honest with the people by declining to answer the specific question at issue.
This is instanced in the Brighton and Hove Conservative Party's leaflet put through my letterbox.
Among the questions I am asked to answer is: "The Conservatives believe the Albion should have a stadium in the city. Do you agree?"
Note the words "in the city". But the crucial issue is not "in the city" but "at Falmer".
Now, do they agree it should be at Falmer or not?
