The son of John Logie Baird, the inventor of television, plans to retrace his father's footsteps on a visit to Sussex.
Mr Logie Baird famously transmitted the first television pictures from Hastings in 1923.
His son, Dr Malcolm Baird, will travel from Canada to Hastings on Wednesday where he will visit sites associated with his father.
Dr Baird will visit Hastings Museum, which houses letters chronicling the inventor's early experiments with image transmission in his Queen's Avenue workshop.
