I was disgusted at the way Mike Howard ran down Russell Watson.

We were completely spellbound by this concert. Russell is blessed with a fantastic voice and the thousands who packed the Brighton Centre would agree.

He came over as friendly and unspoilt. I would willingly have paid £50 for my seat. As for Mike's comments about the programme being £7, they were that price 10 or 15 years ago for all the other stars who perform at the centre.

Why send someone who so dislikes a star to give his views when he is biased before he even attends the show?
