Statistics show there are 1,000 people affected by Parkinson's disease in the area the local Parkinson's Disease Society covers but, sadly, our membership is only a fraction of this figure.
Sadly? Because most sufferers would find the help we can give would be of benefit to them. We meet once a month at Aldrington Day Centre in Hove, when sufferers can meet others and benefit from the interchange of views.
You can contact the local branch through me at 2 Lewes Crescent, Brighton BN2 1FH or the main organisation at 215 Vauxhall Bridge Road, London SW1V 1EJ.
