Police are hunting a sex attacker who dragged a 16-year-old girl into bushes in Mid Sussex and sexually assaulted her.
The teenager was walking past Truscotts Manor Nursing Home in Lewes Road, East Grinstead, when the man forced her from the footpath and attacked her on Wednesday at about 5pm.
The girl was uninjured but shaken and upset by the incident.
Detective Constable Richard Bebb said: "We need the public's help to catch this man.
"I appeal for anyone who might have been in the area at the time or recognises the description of this man to come forward."
The told police the attacker spoke with a local accent.
He was wearing a cream Nike baseball cap, a dark jacket and a cream tartan scarf.
He is described as in his late 20s to early 30s, and clean shaven with a clear complexion.
He is about 5ft 8in, of normal build but with a large stomach and he walked with a stoop.
