An MP has stepped into the row over motorcycle scramblers riding their machines at a beauty spot in Hove.
He has asked the owners of Toad's Hole Valley to take action to prevent the bikers getting on to the land.
The valley is a local wildlife haven bordered by homes in Hangleton and Hove.
Residents have complained to Hove MP Ivor Caplin about noise from the motorbikes and the damage being caused to the valley.
He has written to housing developers Cook Estates, which owns the land, to ask them to take action.
The latest intervention comes after the family-run firm dug deep ditches around the valley two years ago to stop the bikers getting on to the land.
Mr Caplin said there were significant improvements at the time but now the problem is back.
He said: "This is a considerable problem for those who live nearby and those who value the area for its recreational uses.
"Cooks have been supportive on this issue in the past and had some success in stopping motorcyclists gaining access.
"This extremely anti-social activity has returned and I have asked the owners to take action."
