Adam Trimingham's interview with Councillor Chris Morley (June 7) does a useful job.
Coun Morley's robust defence of controlled Parking allows us, for the first time, to identify where the buck stops.
It therefore tells us who has to be unseated at the next council election.
Nearly everything Coun Morley says is untrue or misleading. Brighton and Hove City Council's first attempt at managing parking in the city has been chaotic, frustrating for residents and businesses and totally unresponsive to criticism.
The only bit that works - and, boy, does it work - is the profit-making operation run by NCP.
I have no involvement with Traders Against Parking Persecution (Tapp) but if one of their number wants to stand against Coun Morley next year, I am happy to put the first £50 into the election fund.
