Would it be asking too much for Bishopstone crossroads to have a bus shelter that does just that - shelter?
The one provided does nothing to protect potential passengers from the elements.
Not only does one get soaked with rain, the passing traffic going through large puddles also sprays muddy, oily water.
In a short time, despite wet-weather gear, one is often soaked through.
As most of us waiting at this bus stop are senior citizens, it is hardly the most comfortable state to be in. When one has appointments to keep at hospitals and so on, where one can expect a long wait with wet clothes, it is not helpful to someone feeling in poor health.
I have sent several letters to various people. They must get put to the bottom of the pile as they take so long to reply.
