Brighton and Hove Albion fans who misbehave during or after England's World Cup matches could be banned from Withdean Stadium.
Richard Hebberd, the club's safety officer, said: "We have an agreement with Sussex Police that we will deal with our supporters who misbehave during football matches or who are convicted of any football-related offences."
Ultimately, it could mean fans having their season tickets revoked.
Mr Hebberd said he hoped the good behaviour of fans continued.
Inspector Kevin Claxton, of Brighton and Hove police, said: "So far, there has been little or no trouble in Sussex and we would urge everyone to keep it that way."
An extra 100 police officers will be on duty for England's World Cup match against Denmark tomorrow but the force does not expect any serious public order problems.
Chief Inspector Peter Mills said: "It has been an excellent World Cup so far and there have been no reports of serious disorder.
"Have a drink by all means but don't go mad and, if the worst happens and England lose, then go home quietly and safely."
There were a few reports of domestic problems at homes in the city after England's win over Argentina, caused mainly by too much alcohol.
